Sometimes making a small investment is all that is necessary to create a whole new look, for example replacing the handles on kitchen units can revitalise the room.  A similar outcome can be achieved in retail space, simply by replacing the plastic epos or ticket strips on the front of your shelving, you can refresh the look of your shop. SWSF now stock plastic data strips that will fit most 50 pitch shelving systems such as SWSF, Tegometall, Edens, ITAB etc, in a range of nine colours (cream,red,blue,green,white,black,silver,yellow and clear). Simply decide which colour is appropriate to compliment your shop’s brand, logo or theme, then count the number of epos strips of each length that you require.  Once they are clipped onto the front of all your shelving, it should look a million dollars for just a few pounds!

The single prong pegboard hook is the simplest type of pegboard hook. SWSF 100mm single peghooks are heavy duty, with a gauge of 4.8mm. They are ideal for displaying large quantities of small hanging products on pegboard shop shelving units. Plastic caps are available in red or black to fit over the end of the pegboard hook.

This is a step by step guide to assembling a bay of wall shop shelving.

The first thing to do is to take the base legs and, using the screw-in feet, get them levelled onto the floor. They then can be put into the uprights, they are quite a tight fit to give the unit stability.

Next, the bottom back panel can be inserted into the H slots of the uprights. The kick plate can now be put along the front of the unit.
The remaining back panels can now be inserted to complete the rear of the unit. The base shelf is to be placed onto the base feet and brackets inserted above for the shelves to fit onto. Your strengthening bars on the underside of the shelves are in a “v” instead of flat which gives the shelf more strength and the corrugation on the back panels make them much more secure.
