Shelving Plinths (Kickers) with Rubber Strip

The shelving plinth with rubber strip, often called a kicker slots into the shelving base legs to provide a neat finish under the base shelf.  The advantage of the plinths with the rubber strip is they provide a better seal between with the floor to prevent ingress of dirt, but dirt normally gets under shelving units regardless.  The main function of the plinth is for aesthetics and to prevent items that are dropped on the floor rolling under the shelving unit, especially food which may then smell.  The disadvantages of these sort of plinths is that the base shelf has to be removed for cleaning the area under the base shelf.  We do not supply these plinths as standard but they are available here for customers that do prefer them.
